Exciting programme for the year ahead!

We have so much exciting news to share!

On June 21st we will begin our series of monthly play readings with the play “Mediocrity” by Anton Krueger. How would you react if you were told you had a couple of weeks left to live? Come along and enjoy this hilarious comedy.

In September we will be showcasing “Ruby” the play which we took to Brussels this spring.

In November we will be offering our children theatre show. Kids are welcome to sign up to be a part of the fun!

Next winter we are looking forward to bringing Bollywood Brides back to life! We just love the play and the interaction with the audience!

We look forward to meeting you this coming Saturday or at one of our regular Tuesday meetings.

FEATS in Brussels and a new home

We are happy to announce that we have finally found our home, as of now all our classes will be taking place at the LiLi Centre, Alpenquai 40a, 6005 Lucerne.

We are now running our adult classes on Tuesday evening and our kids class on Saturday mornings. We are planning monthly play readings and workshops open to all.

The other cause for excitement is that we are off to FEATS which this year will take place in Brussels, with our production of Ruby of Elsinore. Imagine Hamlet and co sharing their thoughts at the hairdresser’s. Yes it is a comedy and we will be performing it in Lucerne in the near future.

A New Year and New Projects!

The Snow Queen was a sold out hit. Thank you to all who came along to watch it. With the new year, we are planning our projects for the year and have resumed our weekly meetings. If you are interested in acting and all things theatre feel free to come by at one of our Tuesday meetings, to meet the troupe.

If you are interested in theatre but not being on stage that’s fantastic! really!! We need a committed production team, so contact us, we would be happy to coach you in some of the required jobs.

This year we are planning a spring production, an appearance at this year’s FEASTS in the Fringe and, of course, another amazing children’s show!

Our next production: The Snow Queen

We are about to go on our summer break. Meetings will resume on August 18th at the Sentitreff from 19.30.

Our next production will be The Snow Queen on November 28 & 29, more details to follow.

Our kids classes will resume on August 22nd from 10.00 to 11.00 at the ICL.

In the meantime enjoy the summer and the many theatre festivals in and around Switzerland, like the Theatre Spektakel in Zürich in August.

The Actor’s Nightmare!

We’re getting ready to go to FEATS in Hamburg on the week-end of May 22nd to take part in the main competition again. We are all very excited and have chosen our play. We will be performing The Actor’s Nightmare by Christopher Durang, it promises to be a hilarious play.

This year we will be sure to sneak in a performance in Lucerne for our local audience on May 2nd and will share the details when they come in. So watch this space!
